Community profiling
Inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s ideology on humanity and selfless contribution, Samarpan, is our platform that provides blended learning opportunities to students and young professionals who are keen to explore the domains of public health and community engagement, by theory and practice. At Sarva Samanvay Foundation, we believe that learning is a life long process and at Samarpan we do not differentiate among volunteers, trainees, and young professionals-for us, everyone is a learner .
Led and supervised by industry experts, Samarpan is a community immersion learning program that features a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum, designed to incorporate both theoretical concepts and practical experiences around community mobilisation. The program lasts for 3-6 months (can be tailored as per the learner’s needs) and aims to foster the development of individuals into future changemakers within the development sector by equipping them with the necessary skill sets.

Learners are placed alongside community members to get first hand understanding of the issues faced by communities and develop hyperlocal solutions that are tailored to their needs, preferences, and expectations.
Types of learners
Weekend learners
students/professionals who wish to learn on a Saturday/Sunday
Semester break learners / Interns
Students who are interested to learn during their summer/winter/semester breaks
Young learners
Students who are in their final year of post-graduation and are looking for a field exposure, or wish to undertake a dissertation that focuses on working closely with the community
We believe that at the end of the program, our partcipants will be better equipped to articulate a problem statement, identify real life challenges, and create tailored solutions.
On successful completion of the program, each learner gets a certificate and a life-changing professional experience.
